Furniture Assembler / Trainee

Based in Croydon, Surrey, Price Kitchens are a long established local company. We design, manufacture and supply kitchen furniture to the contract and retail markets within the South East corner.

We require a motivated person to work within a small team dealing with all aspects of assembly from making the units to wrapping the finished unit. working to customer requirements.

This is a full time, permanent position, with the opportunity to progress
- Previous experience of flat pack furniture, would be an advantage.
- Working accurately and methodically.
- The ability to work with mínimal supervision and within a team.
- Adhering to Safe working practices
- Physically fit, punctual time keeping, and have a good work ethic
- full training will be given

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- To accept instructions from the factory manager.
- To monitor performance of parts ensuring work pieces are correctly produced
- Batch runs & bespoke productions
- Prioritising workload
- Keeping workplace clean and tidy

**Working Hours**

Monday - Friday 8.00am - 4.30pm 1/2hr Lunch Break

**Remuneration**

Subject to experience

**Holidays**

4 Weeks PA Plus bank holidays

The company closes over Christmas & New Year and the applicant will be required to reserve the appropriate number of days from the holiday allowance

**Salary**: £10.18-£10.50 per hour

Schedule:
