**Shift patterns**:Monday - Friday 08:00-16:00
**Location**:Livingston (EH54 8AS)

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse Operative for an exciting opportunity working alongside two of our customers at our site in Livingston.

**WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?**
- As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

- Be responsible for picking specified items in a chilled environment and prepare them for shipment.
- undertake the manual handling, assist with the unloading of vehicles and the checking-in of stock. Sorting and placing materials or items on to racks, and shelves.
- Work alongside a small team of specialists in the yard to accept delivery of vehicles and perform visual inspection and valet
- Manage the handover / handback experience including visual inspection of return vehicle

**WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?**
- Hold a Category B/Car Driving License (Essential)
- Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role
- Previous experience in a customer facing environment
- Flexible, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your own workload

A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or equivalent will be well-received.
