Fabric Cutter

Tweedmill Textiles is a UK based manufacturer, established for 50 years. We are a market leader in our industry, producing stunning wool blankets through to fashionable flat caps.

We are looking for a Fabric Cutters to join our team. You will be working within the cutting department and play an integral part in production process.

**Job description**

**Key Responsibilities**
- To follow detailed works order/sales orders/customer instructions ensuring that each product is made correctly.
- Performing quality control checks.
- Cutting of fabrics, following order specifications.
- Cleaning and low/general maintenance.
- Work closely with Production Manager to ensure all orders are produced correctly, efficiently and to a high standard.
- Complete daily worksheets and any other associated production paperwork.

**Key Skills**
- Able to use handheld scissors, electrics knifes and other cutting equipment proficiently, training will be given.
- Good communication skills.
- Problem solving, forward thinking and proactive attitude
- Time management and prioritising workload to meet deadlines.
- Be able to complete associated paperwork, worksheets.
- Ability to work as a team as well as individually.

Reference and Right to Work checks will be required.
