Maintenance Caretaker

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Caretaker to join my clients team. As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of their facilities, ensuring a safe and clean environment for all occupants.
This is working in student accommodation, therefore a DBS will be required. If you do not hold one, we can offer assistance to you to require one.
**Duties**:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as repairing electrical fixtures, plumbing systems (changing taps or washers ). Painting
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential issues or hazards
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the premises, including cleaning common areas and restrooms
- Monitor and address any safety concerns, ensuring compliance with regulations and protocols
- Assist with landscaping and groundskeeping duties as needed
- Respond promptly to any maintenance requests or emergencies
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory
**Experience**:
- Previous experience in caretaking or facility maintenance preferred
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal
**Skills**:
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to interact professionally with residents and visitors
- Strong leadership abilities, capable of supervising a team if necessary
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6-8 weeks
Pay: £11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
