Pharmacy Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant to join our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy team in providing excellent patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy.
This is a role that will evolve over time, but we believe it is an opportunity to help improve our customer's experience and assist with the workflows within the pharmacy. It is also an opportunity to get involved in developing new systems, particularly for communication.
It will include working at the front desk of our pharmacy - greeting clients and establishing their needs. These may include having a prescription which requires filling, purchasing items over the counter, or collecting an already prepared prescription. At busy times, helping to minimise the waiting time for clients by managing their needs in the most effective way.
Using the IT systems in the pharmacy both to assist clients needs and communicating with them by phone, and to be involved with new systems the pharmacy is setting up (website, SMS, and social media).
For items sold 'over the counter' to clients, being involved with the pharmacy displays, from stocking and ordering right through to displays and ways to market products.
To be fully involved with staff meetings and discussions about the pharmacy, and how we can best provide services for our clients.
Liasing with the staff elsewhere in the medical centre when necessary about clients and their prescriptions..
**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour
Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
