Job Title: Accounts / Office Administrator
Reports to: Managing Director / Owner
Location: Bath
Main Purpose of Job:
Join our dynamic team at Special Source Ltd and Millrace Marketing as an Accounts / Office Administrator. You will play a pivotal role in providing essential accounts and administrative support to our business, working closely with the owner and external accountant. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and success of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of invoices and facilitate timely payment processing.
- Coordinate payment arrangements as required, ensuring smooth financial transactions.
- Regularly review and update insurance policies to maintain comprehensive coverage.
- Process and review staff expenses, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Monitor and record office meter readings to ensure accurate billing and usage management.
- Collaborate in the preparation of VAT returns for timely submission to regulatory authorities.
- Proactively follow up with delinquent debtors, effectively managing accounts receivable.
- Generate ad hoc invoices as necessary, maintaining a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Provide general office administrative support, assisting with diverse tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in accounts administration or a related role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently, using initiative to prioritize tasks.
**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week
**Salary**: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year
