Welsh House Farm is a one-form entry community school with a nursery class and Resource Base for

Cognition and Learning. We serve a diverse community and are incredibly proud of our children, and of our staff, who work hard to serve our children and the local community.

We are seeking to appoint two excellent teaching assistants to join the hard working and committed staff at Welsh House Farm. We are looking for people who are good role models, have experience of working directly with children or young people in a primary school setting and are firmly committed to inclusion. Teaching Assistants are highly valued in our school and have a key role in supporting access to the curriculum and enabling all pupils to achieve and succeed.

All of our teaching assistants must be willing to work in any year group, including the Resource and Foundation Stage. It is our policy to allow staff the opportunity to work throughout the school and to provide staff with ongoing training opportunities.

Informal visits to the school are encouraged.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
