**Position**:
Unity is looking for an experienced QC Inspector to join the business in Aberdeen on a full-time basis.

The post holder will be responsible for the quality control of products both internally and externally.

**Requirements**:
**Key Responsibilities Will Include the Following**:

- Working with the QHSE Department to set up the QC Department
- Drive the goods in process to ensure components delivered meet stated requirements.
- Inspect products against engineering drawings to assess whether products meet required quality standards
- First article inspections, including documented inspection reports.
- Create NCRs and log through relevant system
- Working with internal departments to prioritise workload based on Client demand
- Management of controlled quarantine area and non-conforming products
- Supplier visits to witness manufacturing progress and inspections prior to release to Unity
- Responsible for ensuring all equipment is calibrated and recorded as required
- Participate as required in any internal and external audits
- Assist with packaging and shipping of equipment
- Assist with the above tasks for Unity’s sister company, DTI.
- Adhere to all Unity policies and procedures.

**Job Knowledge and Experience**
- Understanding complex manufacturing drawings
- Understanding of inspection best practices
- Experience using hand measuring equipment and reporting.
- Experienced within ISO 9001
- Competent in Microsoft products including Word and Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure where necessary.
- Minimum 2 years in similar inspection role
