Receptionist/driver

The Receptionist plays a key role in the service by providing a professional, responsive point of reference for all out-of-hours contacts in the Primary Care Centre (PCC). This role performs the vital link between patients and duty GP and the post holder will be responsible for processing the out of hours consultations in line with established guidelines and procedural protocols following call handling.

**Driver**:
**In addition to the duties of the Receptionist the Driver will convey the OOH Duty GP to the home or place of residence of patient's whose clinical condition makes it difficult for them to travel to any of the Primary Care Centres. A vehicle suitable for this purpose will be provided by the SBUHB Health Board.**

**The post holder will be required to work a range of flexible shifts patterns i.e. overnights, evenings, weekends and Bank holidays they will also be required to work across our Morriston and Neath Port Talbot bases.
