EDSUK is currently looking for an Office Accounts Assistant/Administrator, with experience in Accounts/Administration to work within a team and on their own initiative.

Job role covers (but is not limited to);
Inputting data, answering phones to customers, suppliers, and internal staff, raising purchase orders, dealing with accounts, and Purchasing.

EDS (Electrical Data Security) established for over 26 years, specialising in bespoke automation, security and access control solutions. We deal with a wide range of clients from commercial to residential, and pride ourselves on bringing customers ideas to life, from Premier League Champions to World Leaders, we have a solution fit for all purposes.

Duties Include;
- Purchase ledger processing invoices and reconcile purchase ledger
- Sales Ledger raising sales invoices
- Post staff expenses, and credit card receipt and reconcile
- Updating spreadsheets for vehicle fleet and training matrix
- Training will be given on Pegasus accounting software
- Answer incoming calls (take messages / transfer / deal with as necessary)
- If required due to staff holidays:

- Schedule work with clients and produce all necessary documentation for clients and operatives
- Process new clients onto the Opera system, assisting sales with admin to update system
- Update work planner as required, liaise with project managers
- Take payments by credit card, processed on world pay
- Deal with day to day office requirements, courier, post etc
- Deal with enquiries from operatives to ensure smooth running of jobs
- Chase suppliers and track supply of goods for work to be carried out on time.
- General office administration

Any other duties as directed by Office Manager.

EXPERIENCE:

- Previous experience in a similar accounts position would be preferable
- Knowledge of both accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills essential
- Knowledge of Microsoft office essential
- Excellent customer service skills
- High level of attention to detail, driven by procedures

Work hours are Monday - Friday 8.00 - 17.00, and salary will be negotiable depending on experience.

**Salary**: £21,350.00-£26,350.00 per year
