**Mental Health - Recovery and Wellbeing Worker (Crisis Safe Space)**

- Open Mental Health is a ground-breaking model in Somerset bringing together NHS, Statutory and Voluntary agencies to deliver targeted and holistic mental health support. Open Mental Health connects people to community resources, builds resilience and improves wellbeing through targeted interventions and a coordinated approach around the individual - with an ethos of “no wrong door”.
- Working as part of Open Mental Health within our Crisis Safe Space Services in Sedgemoor; you will provide emotional support to those experiencing a mental health crisis or emotional distress including safety planning and 5 Ways to Wellness. You will ensure a safe, welcoming and comfortable space for people to seek the support they need.

**About you**:

- You will need to:

- Be experienced in supporting people with mental health challenges
- Have experience of supporting people in emotional distress
- Be a great communicator
- Be great at building trust with those you work with
- Have compassion, empathy and passion for supporting others
- Be IT literate and be able to record and report information
- Have confidence lone working and as part of a team
