We're looking for a self motivated, experienced, UX Consultant to help deliver our UX projects that range from single service through to end-to-end website developments. You'll ideally have 3-5 years experience planning and facilitating UX research methods, be keen to take the lead on project work and confident in growing client relationships - but most of all, a general champion of the user to our clients and our internal teams

**About the role**:
The role will involve designing, conducting and reporting on a variety of research and design engagements. From running user testing, to facilitating focus groups or defining a new Information Architecture (IA). You'll also have the chance to get creative with Personas and User Journey maps as well as the occasional wireframing. Our projects vary and no two are alike

Reporting directly to the Head of UX, you'll work together with the UX team on user experience design projects for our clients in a wide range of sectors as well as working within project delivery teams, providing UX expertise as a project moves from discovery to design, development and testing.

We’re looking for someone with expertise, genuine enthusiasm and attention to detail Someone that will help our clients better understand their customers needs, goals and requirements.

**Responsibilities will include**:
In short you’ll be working alongside a cross-functional team to translate business and user needs into engaging experiences. You’ll be helping to:

- Design end-to-end user-centred services, from one off user testing to full service design approaches
- Run projects involving designing & facilitating workshops, co-creation sessions, user interviews, user testing, survey creation as well as conducting ethnographic research
- Review and analyse existing systems and processes to identify potential problem areas
- Own and create high quality deliverables, including personas, user journey maps, experience maps, information architectures, wireframes, user stories and other experience design deliverables

As a UX’r, collaborating with and learning from people with different skills, backgrounds and perspectives is what drives you. If you have an interesting or unusual mix of skills yourself, even better.

**Desired skills and experience**:

- Is big on human-centred design - you understand its philosophies, trends, and methods
- Has a strong understanding and hands-on experience designing and facilitating user research methods first hand such as user testing, focus groups, stakeholder workshops, co-design workshops, ethnographic research, surveys
- Is familiar and comfortable with in-person and remote testing and adapting UX research methods to a remote setting. When working remotely you also have a working environment in which remote testing can take place reliably and privately.
- Experienced in creating information architectures, content audits, etc
- You enjoy analysing the results of your research and creating the research outputs such as full reports, Miro boards, personas, user journey maps etc
- Has experience working with stakeholders at all levels
- You have an academic background in UX, HCI, Human Factors, Design, Psychology, or similar (not a must)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey the findings from your research or experience design proposals
- Being comfortable working to deadlines and handling multiple projects effectively, working well with others in a team or individually
- Experience delivering in agile teams
- Spoken at or keen to champion UX and our approaches through conferences and meetups
- Professional consultancy skills to provide clients with insights and designs that significantly improve their business

We’d be delighted if you had a creative flair, with experience in prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe suite, etc...not a requirement but a nice to have
