**FTE Salary**:NJC Plymouth** **Grade A, Point 2, £20,441 per annum (pro-rata for part time contract)

**Actual Annual Salary**:£2,447.60 per annum

**Contract Type**:Permanent, part-time, term-time only (39 weeks per year)

**Contract Hours**:5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, (12.00 pm - 1:00 pm)

**About the role**

We are looking for a Meal Time Assistant who will ensure students are safe, secure and well supervised during lunch time.

You will required to:

- Encourage the children to eat the meal provided and promote appropriate table manners and behaviour
- Ensure the safety, welfare and appropriate conduct of pupils during the midday break period in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school
- Ensure the health, safety, conduct and well-being of all pupils
- Undertake playground duty, supervising by circulating amongst children
- Ensure the dining area is kept clean and in a hygienic condition
- Ensure playground equipment is used and stored properly
