A Public Transport and Local Information company is looking to appoint someone to carry out all Power Supplies and Overhead Line Equipment (OLE) maintenance and renewals. If you can manage appropriate isolations and bounding duties, are a logical and systematic person who responds quickly and likes detailed fault investigation when responding to emergency callouts, this role is exactly what you have been looking for.
**Some key duties of an Overhead Linesperson**:
- You will install, repair, maintain and patrol overhead lines and cables.
- Perform emergency response work and respond to callouts.
**To be considered for this position, you’ll need**:
- Valid driver’s licence is essential.
- Basic IT skills, basic literacy, and numeracy skills.
- It is desirable that you have demonstrable experience in power supplies and overhead line maintenance and renewals.
