**Head of Store Support**, you will be responsible for providing and delivering effective leadership to the Central Store Support functions providing solutions, creating policy & defining strategy to ensure our Customers, Members and Stores are at the very heart of our decision-making process.

In this role, you will:

- Take ownership of the Food Activity plan, be accountable for working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all store activity is planned
- Lead our ‘Simple Stores’ programme designed to drive productivity and efficiencies
- Be accountable for development and delivery of a shrinkage strategy working cross functionally to ensure shrinkage is measured, visible and there is continuous improvement
- Maintain a constant awareness of the UK Retail Market and lead the Food Retail Groups
- Work with The Coop Group/FRTS, ISM industry experts to create and share best practice and implement one ‘best way’ of delivery for our colleagues, Customers and Members

**Job Description.**

This role is part of a team based from our Head Office in Warwick, with a mix of working from home and in the office, you will need to be able to travel into the office on certain days.

**About You**:

- Previous experience of working in a senior role with strategic trading responsibility
- Commercially astute, with a demonstrable understanding and success in income generation, negotiation and partnership working
- Strong leadership and negotiating skills
- Experience of working at strategic level, and ability to understand external markets and competitors to influence internal change
- A Levels, degree or equivalent level of experience
