**Job Role**
Do you like helping and connecting with others? We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Birdston Care Home in Kirkintilloch.

The successful applicant will be required to assist the Chef in the preparation, cooking and serving of meals, keeping stock and provisions.

They will also prepare and reset dining room as per Chef’s instructions.

To assist in organising and controlling the efficient and economic production of quality food within the allocated budget, whilst maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS**

**Required**:

- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate
- Good communication skills
- spoken and written English essential
- Team player
- Satisfactory PVG Record Check

**Desired**:

- Experience of food preparation for the relevant service user group

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £9.70 per hour
