Toolmaker

Toolmaker required to join a well-established precision engineering company that is based in the Cwmbran area. They specialise in laser cutting, and due to continuous succession, they are looking for a Toolmaker to join them and be responsible for settingand forming tight tolerance small metal components on manual toggle and fly presses.

**Toolmaker - Position Requirements**
- Ability to handle small and sometimes highly fragile components/products
- Highly attentive to detail and can carry out close inspection of components/products for various faults/flaws
- The ability to problem solves with a can-do attitude
- Able to follow detailed work instructions and protocols precisely
- Good basic computer skills to ensure that all records and data are completed accurately
- Must work well as part of a team
- To contribute to the continuous improvement of work processes, and working environment
- Be a competent manual machinist and possess the ability to design and quote tooling from a component drawing.
- Experience of working in a fine detail manufacturing industry and leading teams in a production environment.
- Good communication skills and a flexible approach to planning are essential
- Must live within a commutable distance of the Cwmbran area.
- Any press brake experience would be advantageous.

**Toolmaker - Position Remuneration**
- Full time permanent position
- Monday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00 (Friday finish at 13:00) 39-hour week
- Salary £30,000 - £32,000 (Dependant on experience)
