Macmillan Brain, Cup, and Rarer Cancer Cns

We are recruiting for **Macmillan Brain, Cup and Rarer Cancer CNS **who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS..**

**The post holder will be the identified lead in the development of nursing practice in own specialist area, working at an advanced level across the healthcare teams, also as a core member of the Brain/CUP/Rarer Cancers Multi-disciplinary Team (MDT).**

**They will be the identified key worker for patients with Brain/CUP/Rarer cancers and their families on the IOW and will co-ordinate island patients care throughout their cancer pathway, including the onward referral of key worker status.**

**The post holder will also act as a resource to all healthcare professionals caring for patients with Brain/CUP/Rarer cancers, and work in close collaboration with other cancer specialist nurses in mainland cancer centres, especially Queen Alexandra Hospital (PHT) and University Hospital Southampton (UHS).**

**The post-holder will work across departmental, business unit and Trust boundaries to support the delivery of a patient-centred seamless service.**

**Lead the development and implementation of clinical audits and research projects in own specialist area, ensuring that the findings are disseminated and good practice is shared across the trust and beyond, in accordance with trust governance and clinical guidelines including Peer Review processes.
