**Office Clerk**

**Hours of work / salary** **- Full Time / Permanent - 40 hrs / Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm / £20,000 pa**

**Key Responsibilities**
- To assist in the day to day running of the transport office under the supervision of the transport office supervisor.
- Entering consignment information, proof of delivery, Customs, and other data on to computer systems.
- Assisting with the debrief of drivers at the end of their shift.
- Responsible for maintaining and complying with health and safety standards thereby minimising the risk to themselves and other persons.
- Carry out any other reasonable requests as required by management.
- Read and comply with instructions and directions as communicated via depot signs, notice boards and memorandums.

**Person specification**

**Essential**
- GCSE Maths & English
- The ideal individual will be self-motivated,
- Able to work with mínimal supervision,
- Be a team player and customer focused.
- Computer literacy is needed for this role.

**Desirable**
- Office based experience preferable but not essential as training will be given.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £20,000.00 per year
