Head Housekeeper

An excellent opportunity has arisen in our Care Home for those who aspire to “really make a difference” to the lives of older people that have chosen to live in spectacular new developed residential/Nursing care services.

We are looking for an experienced Head Housekeeper. Experience of working within a Care Home/Hotel/Guest House is desirable.

Key Task
- To promote and display a professional image commensurate with the high standards of the Crown Care Group.
- To take responsibility for the high standards of cleanliness across all areas of the home.
- Good understanding of compliance, COSHH, housekeeping/hazards, administration and infection control.
- To maintain the domestic staff rota to ensure the correct number of domestic staff are available to maintain the cleanliness of the home.
- To complete supervisions to all domestic staff as dictated in Company policy.
- To monitor the standard of cleanliness of the home and the performance of the laundry service.
- To assume responsibility for the ordering of and maintaining stock levels of domestic cleaning products within the budget agreed with the Home Manager.
- Assume responsibility for undertaking any work related training in order to fulfil your role and any professional CPD requirements.
