Do you like working outdoors? Are you looking for a role that offers development opportunities? If so, the northern Water Recycling Centre team is looking for a new Team Leader.

**The role**

Working within the south region, you will provide a technical support function to all staff during and out of hours when required to ensure the operation and maintenance of water recycling centres.

You will have responsibility for activities delivered by Operators to ensure you meet the relevant key performance indicators and service level agreement targets. You will also manage the working relationships between external and internal staff.

As a Team Leader, you will be competent in resolving technical problems in the operation and maintenance of assets using advance fault finding and solution skills. You will also be involved in making sound judgements and decisions to manage incidents. You will be responsible for contributing to the planning and implementation of necessary change to meet business goals. This includes the use of company systems and Microsoft programs.

You will be required to assist in supervising, supporting, training and mentoring staff at all levels. As part of this position, you will provide scheduling support to plan and organise work to ensure all business targets are achieved.

**What do I need?**

Ideally, you will be working towards an NVQ level 3 STW (all wastewater units). You will have excellent knowledge of the treatment process with a passion for delivering the highest performance and quality.

You will also be able to make the correct decisions under pressure. Additionally, a knowledge of IOSHH health and safety is important.

You must be able to participate in a full standby rota.
