We are looking for an ambitious and results-orientated National Account Manager to join a growing branded food business with a base in Basingstoke.
Reporting to the Sales Director, as a key member of the Sales team, you will manage and develop profitable turnover by taking responsibility for an existing portfolio of customers and securing new listings with multiple retailers.
**Role / Responsibilities**:
üAct as the primary and direct interface between the company and an exciting portfolio of top tier customers.
üBuild and maintain strong relationships with both existing and new clients.
üSupport the customer by delivering clear sales, marketing and promotional plans.
üIdentify / devise and execute customer JBP’s and objectives.
üMaximise sales and profit growth across all managed accounts.
üSupport the Sales Director, and wider team, in developing and delivering the Sales Plan.
üAgree / Negotiate sales prices and product ranges.
üDrive sales whilst managing cost against budget.
üMonthly / Quarterly / Annual Reporting.
üUtilise customer and market / category / consumer data & insight.
üRepresent the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events and undertake regular visits to retail stores.
**The Individual**:
üEducated to degree level.
üDemonstrable track record of achievement gained working with major Grocery / Top 4 Multiple Retailer Accounts.
üExperienced in developing and executing JBP’s and proficient with sales forecasting.
üComfortable working with category data and EPOS.
üExperience in branded food products - ambient category experience advantageous.
üExcellent presentation and communication skills (both written and verbal) - able to communicate cross functionally with internal and external customers.
üNumerically strong, with solid excel skills and working knowledge of other MS Office Products.
üCapable of interpreting and delivering on business objectives.
üCapable of developing and demonstrating in-depth knowledge of products and services.
üStrong team player
üExcellent organisational and time management skills.
üFull Driver’s license and happy to conduct regular customer visits.
üLocation suitable for weekly travel to Basingstoke office
