Marlin Industries is looking for an exceptional individual with the ability and drive to create an environment that supports further business growth in a varied role
You will be working day shift 8am - 5pm Monday to Thursday and 8am - 4pm Friday
**Key responsibilities / accountabilities**
Provide high calibre support and efficient service to customers whilst promoting Marlin's products & services
- Use of SAP business one and company portals to process customer orders, maintain information, credit control & invoicing
contacts to locate empty cable drums for collection including identification and
development of new drum collection opportunities
- Support customer delivery requirements by communicating with manufacturing and
logistics departments to agree on delivery dates.
- Highlighting & reporting of issues / non-conformances using the action report
procedure.
- Resolve and respond to customers regarding any financial, product or technical
queries / problems by liaising with other departments
- Answering the telephone, directing calls to appropriate staff.
- Preparation & filing of the company’s commercial correspondence, documentation in line with agreed procedures
- Minimising waste by reusing & recycling materials where possible.
- Provide timely & accurate reports to internal & external customers.
**Essential skills / competencies / qualifications **(_that are considered critical to the effective performance of the role)_
- Maths & English GCSE grade C or higher
- Strong IT skills with Microsoft Excel & Word essential
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Good communication skills, both written & verbal
- Good time management skills
- Ability to prioritise a range of different tasks with good attention to detail
- NVQ level 2/3 (or equivalent) in Business Administration
- Good UK geographical knowledge
- Good negotiation and customer service skills
- To be responsive, self-motivated and innovative
- The ability & willingness to learn quickly and adapt to enable cover of other office roles, during holiday and busy periods
**Salary**: £24,313.68 per year
