**About the role**

We have a great opportunity for someone to join us an Operations Support Assistant who will work as part of a team to provide a support function within Water Supply. You’ll provide Procurement services, including various duties e.g. raising purchase orders, ordering materials, raising invoices, travel booking, organising vouchers and management of the small plant and Safety Improvement Group budgets to a satisfactory quality and in a timely fashion.

You’ll resolve administrative issues with Site Task Libraries, provide permitting support - records/ assistance and update Standby Rota as requested by all Standby Members. You’ll undertake various other administrative duties to support your teams in Water Supply and support and cover for OSA's for all Essex and Suffolk sites.

We’re looking for you to provide support to the co-ordination of essential information to meet our departmental and business objectives. You will distribute information and perform data and process validation to increase our ability, as a business, to be industry leading.

**About you**

You’ll have proven excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to discuss issues with a confident communication manner on telephone and face to face, along with the proven ability to build strong positive relationships with stakeholders.

We’re looking for you to have proven and excellent knowledge/use of Microsoft Office packages, in particular Excel, Word and Outlook, along with the ability to use and maintain Excel spreadsheets.
