**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide comprehensive, professional, and tailored support to teachers to assist pupils with their educational and social development, both in and out of the classroom environment within a specialist place of safety home for young people who may exhibit Social, Emotional and Mental Health issues.
- Provide adaptable and flexible communications styles based on individual pupil needs in order to achieve sustained progress.
- To know, understand and promote Physis Care’s service delivery as a leading provider of therapeutic childcare.
- Meet, or work towards meeting Professional standards for HLTAs.
- At all times to promote the safeguarding and welfare of the children.

**The Requirements**
- Good standard of general education with at least GCSE grade 5/C (or equivalent) in Mathematics and English
- Level 2 Award (or higher) in Supporting Teaching & Learning in School, or equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience working with young people with additional learning needs, SEND etc
- A full driving licence
- Eligible to work in the UK

Pay: £17,500.00-£21,750.00 per year
