Then join the Tappy Toes Team We're looking for a Class Leader/Dance Teacher for our Milngavie class on Friday mornings.

**Timings**: Fridays starting 13 January 2023, 9.45am to 11.45am, term time position (no classes during school holidays).

**Location**: St Luke’s Parish Church, Milngavie

**Responsibilities**:
Teach two Tappy Toes classes per week on the day and time mentioned above

Prepare for class in advance using lesson plans and training provided

Ensure equipment is set out, clean and prepared before every class

Provide excellent customer service to parents and children attending class

**Requirements**:
Experience of working with children aged 5 and under is a must

PVG scheme member (Tappy Toes will arrange if you don’t have already)

Public Liabilities Insurance (Tappy Toes will arrange if you don’t have already)

First aid training (Tappy Toes will arrange if you don’t have already)

Own transportation - there are lots of props and equipment used during class so you need to have your own transportation and not public transport.

**RELIABLE**:

- Can you turn up on time every week and have your lesson prepared for our little dancers?

**CREATIVE** - Can you think on the spot and come up with new ideas to keep our little ones engaged?

**ENERGETIC** - You need to be full of energy and ready to entertain little children week in week out.

**PATIENCE** - You are going to need an abundance of patience for this age group. They'll be interrupting you, running up and grabbing props when they shouldn't be, possibly even throwing a tantrum in the middle of the class

Teaching qualification is good to have but not essential as full training will be given.

This is a self-employed role at a rate of £12 - 15 per hour.

Full, paid training will be given. All lesson plans and equipment are provided for you and there is no admin work involved - leaving you to focus on the fun stuff.

Part-time hours: 2 per week

**Salary**: £12.00-£15.00 per hour
