Trainee Energy Broker

Data Energy Management Services is a well-established organisation providing account management support to Managing Agents that covers everything from finding lost meters to resident level billing and even Combined Heat & Power (CHP) generation.

This role requires good organisational, numeracy, customer service, presentation, interpersonal, time management and communicational skills. As an Energy Manager you will be required to manager your own portfolio of clients.

**The Role**:

- Job Location: Bishop Stortford
- Hours Per Week: 8.30 am - 5.00 pm
- Role Type: Permanent
- Reporting to: Senior Energy Manager

**Responsibilities**:

- Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotations and resolve invoicing queries as necessary.
- Provide quotations and reports to clients in a time bound manner.
- Maintain records, communications and tasks relating to contract end dates and projects, ensuring renewal arrangements are completed in good time.
- Arrange/request regular site visits and liaise with work colleagues and technical staff.
- Look for ways to reduce client costs for energy consumption.
- Compile client utility budgets.
- Acting as an interface between the client and internal departments, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Provide support and advise to clients on their energy contracts.
- Promote the companies mission, aims and ethos at all times when liaising with potential and current clients.
- Assist in day to day operations of the business including administration, sales, marketing and customer service.

**Experience**:

- energy billing: 1 year (preferred)
