Nursery Room Leader

Calling all Nursery Room Leaders, we’ve got an exciting position for you at our BRAND NEW nursery located on the boarder of Lichfield/Tamworth. We are looking for a Room Senior to lead our Squirrel's Room with ages 2 years to 3 years that boasts beautiful environments and a friendly welcoming team too
Our Room Leader position is the perfect role for a knowledgeable practitioner that thrives in a child lead environment, takes pride in their room and making it their own, understands the value of teamwork and has a natural ability at being amazingly organised
This position is a full-time position, from Monday to Friday working 41.25 hours per week.
Our Whittington, Lichfield nursery is the third nursery in our small chain of nurseries and is a unique and exciting setting for Early Years Practitoner's to thrive in
**You will be responsible for**:
- Supporting your team with observations, planning and assessments. (We ensure our staff’s work load is as small as possible, we ask staff to complete x1 observation a week on their key children via our online journals)
- Making sure your environment is friendly, welcoming, and homely for children to play and thrive within
- Create and implement daily routines within your room
- Provide a high level of care to children, supporting your team to provide care and support to children too
- Share your ideas and passion with your team
- Ensure you have a fantastic range of natural resources and engaging activities available to children in your room. (We take pride in our nursery and have a very generous monthly budget to be spent throughout the nursery, to ensure children and staff do not go without)
- Support and implement a key worker system, ensuring children are learning and developing during our care
- Promote teamwork and create an amazing staff moral within your room and contribute to the rest of the nursery
- Build an unforgettable relationship with parents and children through parent partnership events and opportunities.
- Ensure your room is a clean and tidy place for children to flourish and staff to work within
