A friendly and inspiring specialist school in Woodstock is looking for a Mental Health & Wellbeing Assistant to support children with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The students have a range of mental health needs, including anxiety, depression,learning difficulties and behavioural challenges. The school are therefore seeking someone who is understanding, empathetic but also up for a challenge

The SEMH School is situated in Woodstock. This is a full-time position starting immediately. The school has an extremely well-regarded reputation within the local community and have been commended for their inclusive and nurturing learning environment. Thestaff are extremely supportive and are looking forward to having an understanding and passionate Mental Health Support Assistant join their team.

This is a fantastic and unique opportunity for the successful Mental Health/Wellbeing Assistant to work with the psychologists and therapists based on-site at the SEMH school. This will allow you to gain first-hand experience with children who have significantneeds and learn how to communicate with and support them. This is also a great opportunity for anyone looking to become an educational or cognitive psychologist, therapist, counsellor, or teacher
