Regional Operator

We are looking for a Regional Operator to cover multiple Effluent Treatment Plants around the South West Region. The role will mainly cover sites in Ledbury and Magor

**What will I be doing?**
- Work within the client and SUEZ HSE systems
- Visible ownership on HSE issues at all levels both in the client organisation and within SUEZ.
- Promptly raise any issues which could affect both the client and SUEZ
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customer personnel, SUEZ employees and sub-contractor staff
- Proactively manage external relationships with the client and sub-contractors
- Innovate in the workplace to bring improvement and opportunity
- Identity faults, evaluate rectification measures and to make initial recommendations, to carry out basic repairs
- Gather all systems information and complete plant logs to understand the function and operation of the WWTP on site
- Carry out daily laboratory water analysis and promptly report any deviations to Site Management and Technical Team
- Utilising plant information, identify any changes in system performance and/or potential operational problems and evaluate and make initial recommendations to return plant to its optimum operating condition
- Development and maintenance of good housekeeping practices
- To work unsupervised with a proactive attitude
- Develop good team working behaviours with the client and other SUEZ staff

Undergo training as required and identify training needs.

**What are the requirements?**
- Experience of working directly with sub-contractors **(Desirable)**:

- To be able to demonstrate through previous work experience, an ability to interpret technical information to affect changes on the plant **(Desirable)**:

- Operational and maintenance knowledge of wastewater treatment plant **(Desirable)**:

- Demonstrate the ability to work within a quality system **(Desirable)**:

- Ability and knowledge to complete basic repairs and maintenance
- A working knowledge of running electro-mechanical plant
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Water and Wastewater treatment plants **(Desirable)**
