**The Role**:
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated, highly organised Underwriting Support Administrator to join our vibrant, friendly and diverse Underwriting Support Team based in Wolverhampton. You will have an excellent telephone manner and interpersonal skills, coupled with excellent attention to detail. This is a hybrid role working from our Wolverhampton office 3 days a week and 2 days from home. However, there will be an expectation to be in the office throughout the training period which is usually up to between 6 - 8 weeks dependant on progress.

This role would suit an individual who really enjoys working within an administrative environment and used to dealing with a high volume of incoming calls. You will be provided full training in this role, being highly adaptable and quick to learn.

As the business goes through an exciting growth period, there will be lots of opportunities to get involved in other exciting projects.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing New Business enquiries prior to submission to underwriters
- Reviewing completed quotation requests and providing feedback to brokers and underwriters as necessary
- Liaising with brokers in terms of coverage and pricing
- Dealing with background checks, payment by instalment enquiries, updating policies records
- Assisting with claims enquiries
- Answering phone calls and assisting with enquiries
- Carrying out background checks
- Assisting with general administration as required
- Adherence to compliance and regulatory procedures

**Skills and Experience**:

- Competent on Word, Excel & Microsoft Outlook programs
- Good level of numeracy & literacy
- Good Organisational & planning Skills
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels within and outside the organisation.
- Good written communication skills and the ability to deliver information in a clear, concise, and informative manner.
- Able to work well in a Team environment.
- Attention to detail & Ability to multi-task
- Good level of initiative
- Positive approach at all times
- Versatility & Flexibility
- Energy, enthusiasm and drive
- An exemplary level of honesty, trustworthiness and integrity
- Previous experience working within an Office Administration Team
