Senior Legal Advisor

You will work closely with the Heads of Professionals’ Regulation and the directorate management team to review some of our oldest and complex cases to **provide direction and advice** on how to progress investigations and prepare cases for hearing. You will be working independently most of the time but will need to interact with a range of different colleagues to ensure timely case progression is achieved. Our goal is to **improve timeliness** and **this role is integral** to helping us** reduce our overall caseload.**
- Be a **qualified Solicitor or Barrister** (or equivalent).
- Have **substantial experience of casework** and knowledge of regulatory procedures and/or experience of working for a regulator.
- Have significant **decision-making** experience in a regulatory or similar context.
- Be able to **communicate **clearly and effectively with staff of all levels and work as part of a team, **sharing knowledge** and supporting staff to achieve positive outcomes.
