My client works within Landscape, garden design, build and maintenance and are looking to take on a Landscape CAD Technician on a permanent basis in Paddington, London. You will join a close-knit and dynamic team where you will be encouraged to develop yourown professional goals.
**The Landscape CAD Technician will ideally have the following attributes**:

- At least 2 years of experience in an architecture, landscape architecture or garden design practice.
- Excellent knowledge and proficiency working with AutoCAD, Vectorworks and SketchUp
- Experience of designing for garden design and landscape architecture
- Excellent understanding of the principles of CDM
- Excellent level of design and technical skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and able to work alone or with a team
- Ability to work and support the team when needed and coordinate with others
- Enjoy working on multi-disciplinary design teams

**The Architectural Technician role will involve**:

- Create detailed working drawings and supporting information as required to help sell the designs
- Assist with technical design, documentation, detailing and specification for high quality landscape/public realm detailing
- Supporting the team in the creation of vision documents and supportive illustrative material
- Supporting Senior designers with design concepts
- Create accurate and concise working and installation drawings for on-site fitting
- Producing accurate 3D drawings and visuals using SketchUp, Vectorworks, Photoshop and 3D rendering software’s
- To communicate with the internal team as well as the clients
- Attending project meetings/site visits and producing meeting minutes
