Cass Auditor

Meraki Talent’s industry leading Financial Services client are looking for a CASS Auditor to join a busy Client Money department.

Reporting to the CASS Manager. Together with the other members of the CASS team, you will play a key part in delivering the group’s internal CASS monitoring programme and the annual external CASS audit.

**Responsibilities of the Position**:

- Being the initial point of contact for CASS queries and requests for information in Glasgow
- Assisting the CASS Manager and CASS Oversight Director in investigating CASS breaches and incidents
- Identifying process enhancements to improve the CASS control framework across the group
- Maintaining an up to date log of CASS breaches and incidents
- Ensure a high quality client service is delivered to all clients
- Assisting the CASS Manager with drafting monthly MI and reports for Board and senior management meetings
- Assisting the CASS Oversight Director in delivering CASS training to the Operations and Transfer Agency teams
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the risks to clients within their operation and how these will be mitigated

**Background of the Position**:

- Knowledge of CASS 6, 7 & 8 rules
- Experience in an operational role, ideally in a TA environment
- Knowledge of UK fund regulations impacting investment and asset managers, specifically CASS and FUND handbooks
- Be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the FCA’s CASS rules
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to plan and project manage multiple projects
- Proficient at presenting and communicating information to a diverse audience
