QA Auditor

**Quality Auditor**, Greenford, London, To assist in maintenance of the quality, legality, authenticity and food safety of products sold by the company with shared responsibility towards the maintenance of the company’s current BRC AA+ grade and it’s HACCP standards with everything that involves. Reporting to the QA Manager in a team of 6.

**The Role**:
The role includes ensuring staff adhere to company systems and procedures, and that all Belazu products comply with the HACCPs and are manufactured to the highest possible standards of hygiene, food safety, authenticity and legality.

The following are the key accountabilities and responsibilities with the role:

- Conduct internal audits, including GMP, hygiene, fabrication, glass & brittle plastic, and HACCP audits, ensuring compliance and identifying trends
- Verify CCPs and assess competency in procedures, contributing to performance evaluations
- Investigate customer complaints and internal non-conformances, taking corrective actions as needed
- Perform diverse product testing (such as organoleptic, pH, aw, salt content), ensuring quality standards
- Release WIP products for production, conduct finished product label checks, and inspect raw materials
- Investigate out-of-spec results, liaising with the production team for product specification compliance
- Manage concessions, log and handle supplier non-conformances, and follow the company's quarantine system
- Conduct internal calibration and equipment verification, including pH, aw, salt refractometer, and weighing scales
- Perform environmental swabbing (such as ATP, Listeria, Allergen), carry out shelf-life testing and sample raw materials and finished products
- Coordinate external laboratory testing, sending products for micro-analysis as per schedules. Report and trend test results
- Assist the QA manager in problem solving and investigations
- Adhere to QA budget and meet KPIs, contributing to Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Socio-Environmental company values

**QA Auditor key skills and experience**:
You will need to have the ability to influence those around you to ensure that the company’s procedures are adhered to at all times. Ideally you will be independent and resilient - happy working in a busy, fast-moving and complex environment.

**Terms**
- 40 hrs/wk. Usually starting 7-10am and finishing 3.30 -5.30pm with flexibility on start and finish times.
- Probationary period 3 months
