**OUR INTERNSHIP**
Our 12 week Summer Internships, based in Aberdeen, are a great opportunity to get a taste for working at TotalEnergies and get hands on experience within your field of interest. The programme’s design is multifaceted, ensuring that you receive the opportunities and support needed to develop on a personal and professional level. These include learning workshops, networking opportunities, training sessions and if operationally viable, a site visit.-

As a TotalEnergies Intern, you will be joining our Exploration & Production Branch to help play a part in our journey to net zero.

**THE POSITION**

Our legal intern will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of areas within the legal department and the key role it plays within TotalEnergies. You will assist the team with ad-hoc legal and administrative tasks as well as conducting research into UK laws and the review of various agreements. This is a fantastic opportunity to launch your legal career and gain an insight into how an in-house legal team functions.

Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:

- Ensuring that agreements are compliant with local laws and regulations as well as TotalEnergies’ internal policies
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders to ensure issues are resolved quickly, and escalating to the team’s lawyers where appropriate
- Assisting the team’s lawyers with day-to-day legal, administrative and corporate secretarial tasks

- In their penultimate year of their undergraduate Law degree (graduating in 2024)
- Available to work in our Westhill office, situated just outside Aberdeen, during the summer months (June to end of August)
