**Main Responsibilities**

-In conjunction with the Exams and Assessment Manager, ensure the accurate and timely processing of registrations/entries for exams and submissions of exam results.
- Under supervision of the Exams and Assessment Manager, to take responsibility for coordination of entries and results for a subset of awarding bodies
- To record examination data on the College Management Information System in a timely way, ensuring accuracy of data
- To take the lead on organisation and delivery of internal exam and assessment sessions
- Assisting the Exams and Assessment Manager with internal communications regarding examination information
- To check incoming examination stationery and question papers and store them securely in the examination store.
- To assist in the sorting of examination papers and collating them in order of the attendance registers. Packing papers securely into envelopes and delivering them to reception for collection.
- Dealing with access arrangements and consideration for students who may be disadvantaged (for both internal and external examinations), liaising with students, parents, staff and awarding bodies.
- To assist with organisation and scheduling of invigilators for all relevant internal and external examinations and assessments.
- To process post result requests from staff and students using the awarding bodies’ secure websites and processing any amendments within the College Management Information System.
- Be proactive in contributing to the development of improved ways of working to ensure the efficient running of the department
- To respond to students, parents and staff queries, offering a high level of customer service

**_General_**

-To undertake routine administration within the Examinations department.
- To work flexibly to meet the needs of the department; this will require some early starts and/or later finishes on some days during examination periods.
- Any other duties required by management and deemed appropriate to the general responsibilities of the post
- Comply with Health and Safety regulations associated with the responsibilities of the post

**Additional Information**:
Normal hours are 37 hours per week, however, during exam periods in May and June you should be prepared to work extended hours including some evening work. Normal hours will be adjusted before and after examination periods to ensure there is no overall increasein the hours worked over the year.

Annual leave will need to be taken outside of Exam periods.
