JGT Recruitment are recruiting for a market-leading firm who are seeking an Electrical Estimator - preferably with some minor civils experience - to join their new and growing EV Charging Division.

With tremendous potential to grow with the business, this is a fantastic opportunity for an electrically biased Estimator looking to develop their skills and competence in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment, within a fast-growing sector.

**The role**

As an Electrical Estimator, you’ll be working with the Business Development Manager, producing designs and quotations to meet customers’ specification requirements.

This role would suit someone who has an established track record in M&E estimating, an interest in the EV market, and a driven and energetic approach to supporting the development of the pricing models.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Supporting the sales of the full range of charging solutions into the UK market.
- Building relationships within the wider M&E and civils sectors of the business to support the competitive pricing of projects
- Working with the wider business units to develop the standard pricing models for the EV works
- Supporting the business development function to negotiate and close new projects/accounts
- Co-operating with international colleagues in other business functions
- Maintaining extensive knowledge of current market prices for EV installations

**Who are we looking for?**

To be considered for this opportunity, we are looking for someone who:

- Has 3 to 5 years’ M&E estimating
- Has good technical understanding
- Has an entrepreneurial outlook, determination, and resourcefulness to succeed in supporting this young start-up venture
- Is self-motivated and hungry to learn
- Can work flexibly either under supervision or on own initiative as required
- Has excellent written and oral communications and presentation skills
- Has a full UK Driving License and is willing to travel for the role (Essential)

(A knowledge of civil engineering would also be desirable, but not essential.)
