Airport Transfer Taxi Driver

JD AIRPORT TRANSFER is currently looking for Private Hire or Hackney Carriage Licence drivers to work in BCP Area. We are seeking enthusiastic drivers with excellent customer service skills. Based in BCP, we provide a reliable and friendly service to and from London Airports and to any other location in UK.

Private Hire or Hackney Carriage licence for Dorset or BCP is required to drive a taxi. If you do not currently possess a Hackney licence, we can assist you in obtaining one. This work operates on a self-employed basis.

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely and efficiently operate a taxi cab to transport passengers to their desired destinations
- we are airport taxis. Mostly London Airports and any other destinations in UK from Dorset
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while providing a comfortable and enjoyable ride for passengers
- Maintain a clean and well-maintained vehicle at all times
- Communicate effectively with passengers, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or other items as needed
- Collect fares and handle payments in a professional and accurate manner

**Skills**:

- Commercial driving experience, preferably as a taxi driver or van driver
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record and valid driver's license maximum 3 points but we will consider 6 points with good recommendation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, as needed
- Strons knowledge of London Airports, routes, and landmarks (training can be provide)
- Ability to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
- Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
