An exciting opportunity has arisen for a band 3 Pathway Coordinator (Medical Secretary) post within Microbiology, Pathology. The post is a part time, 30 hours post based at the Royal Derby Hospital.
- Arranging, attending, and taking the minutes for the departmental meetings. Ensuring relevant rooms are booked or Microsoft Teams Links are shared to attendees.
- Processing reports from referral laboratories efficiently, ensuring they processed in a timely manner.
- Responsible for updating and maintaining spreadsheets relating to samples sent to referral laboratories.
- Informing Environmental Health and Community Hospitals of specific patient results
- Processing delivery notes once ordered have arrived at the laboratory.
- Taking part in audits, helping to collate relevant data.
