**Introduction**
Internally you’ll be known as an Accounts Controller, you’ll own a portfolio of accounts across Latin America and the Caribbean. It’ll be your job to make sure that balances are collected and paid in accordance with the contractual requirements.

**About the role**

On a daily basis you’ll be working with people on a global scale. Speaking with Gallagher employees across London, Miami and Mumbai, as well as in Latin America and the Caribbean.

You’ll make sure that that our client’s money is handled securely, efficiently and in a fully auditable way. You’ll be responsible for the fiscal relationship of your portfolio and you’ll be the main contact when it comes to all matters relating to payments.

You’ll actively service your accounts to a high standard, making sure that monies due to and due from clients are handled in a timely fashion, enabling us to meet our financial objectives.

You’ll also make sure that everything meets our policies and controls, that means:

- Use MI to identify debtor related problems and raise, negotiate and influence where necessary to resolve
- Review and correlate cash daily
- Adhere to standardised Group policies and procedures, Accounting and Settlement fundamentals, including sanctions touch points and other regulatory requirements

**About you**

It would be nice if you already had experience and a CII qualification, But don’t worry if you don’t. You’ll have our complete support, and we’ll even fund the CII qualification for you if you don’t have it

You’ll be able to spot mistakes in documentation, build good working relationships and be able to plan your time to make sure everything gets done. You’ll be able to do this on your own, so you’ll also need to be able to use a PC and the Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)

**Essential requirements**:

- Educated to A-level standard
- Willingness to study or already achieved CII qualification
- The ability to take complicated information and communicate it, in a way anyone can clearly understand
- Ability to work on your own or as part of a team
- Eligible to work in the UK

It would be great if you also had:

- Spanish language skills
- CII qualification, or studying towards
