More detail about the role Responsible for delivering, high-quality care and performing specific clinical tasks, this role focuses on ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the designated work area. Operating under the guidance of a Registered Practitioner, the individual adheres to local and national protocols, standard operating procedures, and policies within their existing competence. The emphasis is on delivering compassionate, dignified care while effectively managing time, tasks, and resources.

The role also involves undertaking training, assessment, and facilitating peers and staff, contributing to the holistic patient care as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team. In addition to supporting Registered Practitioners, the responsibilities extend to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and visitors. Rotational work within the department is expected as needed. Anticipated benefits include a reduction in missed referrals and calls from the care coordination hub, leading to increased activity and the ability to meet 2-hour demands.
