**Responsible to**:
HR & Training Manager

**Responsible for**:
A professional reception service including answering the telephone and greeting customers and suppliers to the office.

**Working hours**:
20 hours Mon - Fri 9.00am - 1.00pm

**Essential Qualifications**:
Minimum GCSE/O’Level English and Maths or equivalent at C grade and above

NVQ level 2 in Business Administration (or equivalent) would be advantageous.

**Essential Experience**:
Experience in busy office environment and managing a switchboard.

**JOB SUMMARY**

A well presented disposition with a mature attitude and excellent telephone manner.

Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative. Flexible to work additional hours to cover holidays/sickness etc for other receptionist.

**KEY TASKS**

Answering telephone and greeting customers and suppliers.

Recording and communicating messages.

Handle all outgoing mail.

Open and date stamp all incoming mail and out into appropriate order for collection.

Miscellaneous filing.

Maintain switchboard system i.e. up-date extension numbers and speed dialling accordingly.

Word-processing and data processing

Support for all other departments when required.

To participate and support all Company initiatives with compliance of procedures and requirements for ISO9001, 14001 & 45001, FSC and Investors in People Standards.

Any other duties conducive to the effective operation of the post which the Company deem to be within the post holder’s competence.
