**Adaptations Officer**

We are looking to recruit a permanent Adaptations Officer to manage the processing of Minor adaptations and equipment for adults and children across Leicestershire. The Adaptations Team is a small, friendly team based in the Adult Social Care OT Service. We enable various commissioning teams in Adult Social Care, Health and the private sector to ensure the best possible outcomes for the people we work with across Leicestershire.

We support our staff to achieve a mixture of home-based working, as well as the opportunity to work from County Hall Glenfield. We provide a comprehensive induction package with ongoing access to bespoke learning and development opportunities.

Main duties include
- Supervising the workloads of the Adaptations Assistants.
- Liaising with contractors and in house Technicians to procure works and ensure that jobs are completed within the relevant timescales.
- Working with District and Borough Councils and other landlords regarding works in their properties
- Producing statistical information and budget reports for use by Senior Managers
- Ordering and paying invoices
- Supporting senior managers with procurement contracts and managing existing contracts.

Essential Requirements
- Five GCSE’s, grades A-C or equivalent
- Supervisory Experience
- Experience in Business Administrations
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workloads

The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30 - 5pm and Friday 8.30 - 4.30pm. Flexible working can be considered.
