Optime are excited to be recruiting Baggage Handling with flexible shifts available at Gatwick Airport.
Once your initial background checks and training are complete, you’ll be able to work anything between 0 and 30 hours per week - simply by booking yourself in via our app.
This is a great opportunity for someone with previous manual handling experience who wants to work flexibly in an energetic airport environment (for example: students, parents looking for part-time work, anyone looking to choose their own shifts or boost an existing income).

**What’s on offer**:

- Salary: £12.79 per hour
- Weekly pay
- 2 weeks paid training provided (must be available for the full 2 week training period)
- Work as little or as often as you like* Must work a minimum of 2 shifts per month
- Ongoing shifts and development opportunities

**The Role**:

- You will be working both airside and within the Undercroft (baggage unit)
- Full training will be given
- Please note that the role takes place both indoor and outdoor and will experience all weather conditions.
- Full PPE will be provided.
- Full UK Driving License Required

**Shifts available**:

- 3AM - 12PM
- 5AM - 12PM
- 11AM - 8PM
- 12PM - 9PM
- 1PM - 10PM
- WEEKENDS ONLY
- WEEKDAYS ONLY
- Minimum monthly hours required for training purposes.

**Requirements**:

- Full Driving Licence
- Passport or Birth Certificate
- UK Settled Status (If applicable)
- Proof of National Insurance
- Proof of (current) Address
- 5 Year Address History
- 5 Year Work Reference History
