Pavilion Steward

Marylebone Cricket Club (the Club) is the world’s most active cricket club, custodian of the Laws of Cricket and is also the owner of Lord’s Ground, affectionately known as the “Home of Cricket”. The MCC and Lord’s brands are renowned worldwide and are synonymous with excellence, prestige and providing an enjoyable customer experience, whether at an international cricket match or a special event.

We are currently recruiting for a Pavilion Steward to help us ensure that one of the most famous buildings in world cricket, maintains the highest of standards across the pillars of service, safety and security. You will deliver high levels of customer service commensurate with making Lord’s the World’s greatest cricket ground.

The wide variety of functions that take place within the Pavilion, including around 60+ days of cricket each season, which means that you will interact regularly with Members, guests and visitors.

**REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE**
- The successful applicant will be required to work five shifts of nine hours, with one hour of unpaid lunch on each day worked. The shifts will be rostered over seven days between 07:00hrs and midnight, Monday to Friday and between 09:00hrs and midnight on weekends. The hours will be adjusted to meet the needs of the business and to cover events and cricket matches, which may include working past midnight.
- This is an ideal opportunity for someone with excellent face-to-face customer service, verbal and written communication skills. MCC is looking to recruit someone who is keen on helping enhance the experience for all visitors to one of the most famous buildings in world sport.
