Handtmann Operative

**We are looking for meat industry employees-meatball/sausage makers, who have experience operating Handtmann machines**

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Ensure that all products are produced in accordance with company procedures and process controls to the satisfaction of the customer.
- Perform daily visual checks on both plant and machinery used in your section for both cleanliness and safeness. Report immediately any faults or defects to the production manager or production supervisor to be added to the daily pre operations report. Ensure any equipment supplied by the company to aid production processes is utilised by production operatives under your supervision at all times.
- Ensure all traceability and process control paperwork relevant to your role is recorded accurately, legibly, and timely to guarantee full product traceability on all products at all times during production process.
- Ensure that you and operatives under your supervision are complying with company procedures and food safety legislation at all times, and communicate these procedures when necessary, to the production operatives.
- Assist in controlling raw material stock to ensure customer supply levels are met and production requirements are attained, ensuring process procedures and customer specifications are met.
- Ensure dry goods stores, are kept tidy at all times. Any raw materials should be stored hygienically to avoid contamination and obstruction to other Production Staff. Ensure all waste materials including empty pallets and supplier dolavs are removed from the Packaging store by the end of each day.
- Liaise with production supervisor (or manager) daily to ascertain production levels required, and order of priority to meet these targets cost effectively, efficiently and to the deadlines agreed.

Hours are Monday-Friday 7am - 3:30pm with occasional weekend overtime.

Hourly rate to be discussed depending upon experience.

Pay: From £11.44 per hour
