An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic fixed term Sports Instructor to deliver sports/exercise related interventions on an individual and group basis to patients across the Mental Illness, Women's services and Intellectual Disability wards, The sports instructor will be directed to deliver interventions mainly on the women's service ward's, at The Wells Road Centre, Mapperley, Nottingham.

Interventions will include supporting patients with accessing and increasing their physical activity across the wards and in the community,

You will have a gym instructor or equivalent qualifications in sport/exercise coaching plus GCSE/ GCE or equivalent in Maths and English. Having knowledge of a range of sporting activities.

You will be a team player and have skills in motivating others and experience in working in a healthcare setting.

You will need to have good communication and negotiation skills, some experience of group and individual planning and delivery and be able to work independently and be highly adaptable.
