**Behaviour Mentor**

This mainstream Primary School located in the Borough of Wandsworth is looking for the perfect hard-working, resilient graduate to join their exceptional team As a Behaviour Mentor, you will be working alongside pupils with complex behavioural needs whorequire some additional guidance from a positive and assertive role model You will support with their everyday routine and keep them engaged and motivated to learn in the classroom. This is a **full time, long-term post, commencing January 2023** for the entire academic year.
**This is an ideal position for a recent Psychology/Criminology graduate who is seeking first-hand experience before pursuing a career as a **_Prison Liaison Officer, Therapist, Counsellor, Youth Mentor_** amongst others.**

**Behaviour Mentor - Job role**:

- Supporting children with a range of SEN to keep them engaged in the classroom
- Encourage the development of the students’ social skills
- Work within the classroom and in smaller groups to accommodate needs
- Support and comply with the school’s safeguarding procedures
- Full-time, long term position starting January 2023
- Located in the Borough of Wandsworth
- A 2:1 or a First-class degree from a reputable University
- Genuine interest working with SEN
- Excellent communication skills and willingness to adapt
- Experience in a previous role, or personal experience in SEN is desirable
- Calm and compassionate nature
