About the Job
We are looking for

A legal professional (paralegal) with experience in contract drafting and corporate administration, ideally related to Trusts or Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs).

We are looking for an individual who is passionate for our mission and vision and will integrate well with the staff and our corporate values.

The position is based in our office in London, with a reporting line to the Head of Structuring. We offer a stimulating work environment and the opportunity to work in the growing impact investment space.

**Job Description**:
The SPV Middle Office Associate is the key operational staff member in the SPV Middle Office of Symbiotics, which administers the currently four SPVs used within Symbiotics transaction origination. As an SPV Middle Office Associate you will be working on a large range of aspects of SPV administration including, but not limited to:
Drafting transaction event documentation, including prepayments, defaults, waivers and amendments, both in relation to investees (loan) and investors (notes)
Monitoring of transactions (covenant monitoring and follow-up) and related administrative tasks
Maintenance of issuance programme of the vehicles, and interface with clearing systems and paying agents in respect thereof
Reporting to investors and stock exchange (ad hoc and regular)

The SPV Middle Office Associate will work in a team of three people, and will be supervised by the Head of Strucuring.

Your Qualification
Skills/qualifications/experience

We are looking for a self-motivated, autonomous individual, who is team-oriented and able to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. More specifically, we have the following requirements:
Law degree (UK or any international law) or several years of on the job experience in drafting legal documents
At least 1 year of experience in a paralegal environment, ideally within corporate administration, finance, trust, SPV administration or related field
Strong drafting skills in English
Highly organized and strong attention to detail
Ideally interest and/or experience in emerging & developing markets
Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Excel, Word and Power Point;
Highly motivated, well-organised with a strong work ethic and a high degree of integrity
Ability to work independently
Capacity to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure
Valid work permit for the UK
